Icons, painted by the Brotherhood can be divided into two styles, same as all Georgian icons in general. There have been two kinds of iconography since the middle ages: One that was called classical style was created by highly qualified artists. Those icons were usually painted in the Royal Court, under the orders of the King and nobles.

Another kind of iconography, which nowadays is called Archaic Style, was generally popular in small provinces and the mountainous regions of Georgia. This trend is very similar to the Ancient Orthodox Christian Iconography.

These two branches of icon-painting are both unique and the merge with each other in the modern Orthodox icon-writing. We offer you the images of the icons that have been created for the last ten years.

Irakli Medoshvili also took part in the creation of some of these icons that were originally painted by iconographer Lasha Kintsurashvili.
